Review: Michael Kors Crossbody Tech Phone Bag

Friday, April 4, 2014

During Macy's "Buy 2 or more" handbag sale last week, in addition to the Michael Kors Large Selma Satchel (reviewed here), I also picked up the Michael Kors Tech/Phone Crossbody Bag in vanilla logo print.

MSRP $148, this cute little crossbody bag snugly fits your phone, cash, and credit cards and comes in a variety of different colors. As with all MK handbags, the leather is soft and the hardware looks durable.

The inside has 3 separate compartments: 1 compartment with 3 credit card slots, 1 compartment in the middle for your phone, and 1 compartment with a zipper pocket.

Review: Michael Kors Selma Large Satchel

Thursday, March 27, 2014

When I first saw the "Selma" satchel in the Michael Kors catalog (was it last year?) I instantly fell in love and lusted after it for months. I'm not the type of person to spend a lot of money on a single piece of clothing or accessory (the thought of paying hundreds or even thousands for a single handbag makes me want to cry), so at the MSRP price of $358, I put aside any thoughts of ever purchasing it and settled for admiring it from afar.

*NOTE: Navy color is actually much darker than shown in my photos. Sunlight coming in from window is making the color appear much lighter.*

But when I happened to be on Macy's website last week and saw that they had a 25% off promo for the purchase of 2 or more select handbags - and Michael Kors items were included! - I purchased the large Selma satchel and the phone crossbody bag (will be reviewed next post) without a second thought. At $287 after tax, this is officially the most I've ever spent on a handbag >.<

Review: Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C Clutch

Monday, August 26, 2013

I have been looking for a compact cross-body bag for awhile...something small to fit essentials without being too bulky. After a lot of comparison shopping, I fell in love with the Rebecca Minkoff cross-body bags - in particular, the very popular Mini 5-Zip clutch and the Mini M.A.C (Morning After Clutch). I liked the bags' gold-tone hardware, versatility, style, size, and most of all, the wide assortment of colors available.

Initially, I bought the Mini 5-Zip clutch since it was on sale on Amazon, but after seeing it in person I didn't particularly like all the tassels it had on the front and how it looked a bit too casual for dressier events. So I ended up returning it and getting the Rose Gold Mini M.A.C from Nordstrom instead.

Review: Hautelook & Ann Taylor Hauls

Wednesday, September 7, 2011

Yay! I finally caught up with replying back to all the comments you guys left for me! Sorry I've been neglecting my blog lately - I promise I'll try not to be such a flake again :P

Anyway, I wanted to start tackling all the hauls I recently made and write mini reviews of all the items at least. First up, my Hautelook order.

Hautelook haul 8/2011

This was my first time ordering from Hautelook. The site is SO addicting because their sales are always changing and they have great discounts on designer brands. I ordered:

Omg I had this post drafted in April but didn't post it until now! I have to warn you guys that this is a pretty picture-heavy post. This is a compilation haul and mini review of all the handbags I've bought in the past few months. Hope you guys enjoy all the handbag pr0n ;)

I love this bag! I've seen the brand River Island mentioned on a few blogs in the past but I've never bought anything from the brand before. The bag is polyurethane but it doesn't look like obviously fake leather; the quality is actually very good. I love the cream color and gold hardware on the bag. I think the bag looks a lot more expensive than it really is :)
